All the Rockets starters have scored in double figs before the end of the third quarter. Now finish the Bucks off Rockets, I feel like some BBQ deer meat!

Great game so far. I'm impressed they're doing so well without half their backcourt.
    Now, about the deer meat...

A lot of people here know that I hate dear hunting and such, but it was a joke. I am amazed with this game, and this team.

Son of an Anders! What a solid game by Shandon! Man - points, rebounds, toss a steal in there...I didnt get to see the game, but the figures seem impressive. wonderful balance!

we've had great balance the whole streak. didn't we go like 5 games without Francis or Mobley leading the team in scoring recently, not to mention we had 6 players in double figures against Portland and plenty of people blamed Rudy and Mobley.

The balanced scoring has been happening since Hakeem and Mo' started going off and is the result of Rudy's system taking hold with this young team. This is the Rockets. This is the power of the 4 out 1 Flex with great guards and Mo' and Dream playing well, and let's not forget KT.

Don't try to dissect one game here. This is the whole system taking hold. One great way to measure this is the team (specifically Mobley's) increasing assist total. The ISOs are giving way to better team play as everyone learns to play with each other.

The ISO was a crutch for Rudy early on to use until the whole team chemistry started to gel. Ball movement is not something you can pour out of a can. Rudy chose not to try to force movement for movement's sake early in the season. One thing at a time was his approach, ie, establish the double teams first. Now the whole team has timing down. Now the entire team's assist total is up.

We rock, because we have team chemistry and Rudy stuck with ISOs early until we found our TIMING. Plus, now we have a center.

This team is way ahead of schedule.

    Rudy...coach of the year!!

With the Bucks playing no D, I guess Rudy thought it would be better to have offensive minded players out there. That, or Kelvin stubbed a toe.

I was just thinking about how far this team has come when looking at their record. I mean, this year they only added Mo and a couple of rarely used rookies. But they are really coming around. I thought they would improve this year, but to be doing this well at this point is beyond my expectations. I'm not play analyst, but the flow and the teamwork does seem to be coming along. Plus the new and improved version of Hakeem doesnt hurt either.

here's the balanced scoring stats for the streak:

    ny: 5 double figures
    phil: 4
    detroit: 5
    wash: 5
    orl: 4
clev: 2 (huge win by Francis/Mobley)
    bost: 4
    Minn: 5
    orl: 4
    port: 6
    chi: 5
    milw: 6

so, why is there great balanced scoring. because Mobley is out, or because Rudy has the team playing great together.

Now can Mobley and Rudy bashers really make a valid point here?

    I love this game...

    what do you think, verse!!!

Great balance, awesome teamwork! We own Milwaukee BA-BY! Rocks are 2 and a half games out of the final playoff berth.

Sneakin' up on Phoenix too. They've lost 2 in a row and now have 23 losses. What does that make the Rockets, like 3.5 back of Phoenix? I'm lovin' it.

Hey Lil Francis, I don't get to see all the Rocket games only the ones nationally broadcast on TBS, TNT, Fox Sports (when they play the Mavs in Dallas), or WGN (when they play the Bulls). I just keep up with the Rockets by visiting the following websites: Clutch City (#1 All the Way!!!), ESPN, CNNSI, Yahoo! Sports, and Houston Chronicle. Then I watch ESPN, CNNSI, Headline Sports, Fox Sports, NBA 2Night, etc. Then I read all the magazines like SI, Sporting News, ESPN, etc. Then I watch and read local news (not much said on the Rockets way up here though). Then I tune into whatever radio I can get. I can keep going just trust me. I am a highly devoted Rocket fan and have been since 1988 and if you saw my bedroom and bathroom you would probably think I'm crazy. I do catch at least one Rocket game a year because I have relatives in Houston and that's where I go every Spring Break. This year I will be attending the Spurs - Rockets game on March 17th. I have actually sat courtside on one occasion (Blazers - Rockets March 16th 1999 to be exact). Point being in all this, I think I live up to my billing as Arkansas' Biggest and Best Rocket fan.

Hey Heypartner, I wasn't just saying that the Rockets were balanced only in this game but they were balanced in this game as well as the past several which I have stated in several earlier posts. Sorry bout the confusion man.
