Les is himself an old guy, we need a breath of fresh air there.

 

Couple things I want changed since we doing a make over

1. Get rid of Clyde too. Dude is clueless

2. Keith jones. Who can take Keith seriously when he's obese! Work out you're dam self !

3. Those stupid metal detectors at the arena make me wait longer to get in!!

4. Can we dim those dam arena lights.. I gotta wear sunglasses to games sometimes.

5. Skankier power dancer unis... they all look hot.. show them off!

 

Tillman Fertitta has said he would love to own a Houstons sports franchise one day. Talk about the best case scenario.

 

Les is a joke of an owner. Constantly meddling and doesn't have a clue

 

You're criticizing the person who purchased and owns the team for being involved in its business operations? And you say he doesn't have a clue here even though our broadcast operations have been consistently panned?

Crappy uniforms, crappy announcing moves, bad concession food (compared to what Astros and Texans have), annoying people yelling at you to sign up for credit cards, beer dominated by goose island, stadium that was also built for hockey, the ticket people are a pain to deal with and always try to screw us on our "guaranteed" playoff tickets (half season ticket holder for several years here)

I let it all go because Les wouldn't meddle in the basketball side. Now that he is meddling there too with the Dantoni hire I think hes turning into one of the bad owners.

 

You mean the same DD that is trolling for a Rockets announcer position.

 

Worrell was getting old and senile.

That much is certain.

But this is just disrespectful.

 

Too each their own I guess, in my opinion:

- I'm one of the few that likes the unis and their simplicity
- It was probably time for Bill to retire anyway
- Matt Thomas will be an improvement on PA
- I think the food at Toyota Center blows away NRG or Minute Maid (but granted I'm typically eating at Red and White pregame or in the Club level)
- Agree on the CC people, but once again you don't see them if you enter through club/suite skybridge entrance. Encountered them before though and it's bad.
- There's all types of beers available throughout the building
- Stadium was rightfully also built for hockey
- Every pro team in America guarantees you playoff tickets when you have season tickets, that's not unique to the Rockets

 

The food at the Summit was better.

 

Saying he is concerned about the quality of the announce team but also keeping Drexler means Les has no cred. Drexler is honestly the worst color guy I have heard.

 

I think Dikembe Mutombo should handle the play by play

 

Why give Worrell the boot? Can't he just go pre game/half time/post game show? **** Les man...im sick of that dude and his stupid goofy ass face and creepy high pitched laugh. He is and will always be a New Yorker. The league needs younger billionaire owners. Out with these old creeps. Bring in a young, born and raised Houstonian owner!

On the playoff tickets, I mean they try to take away our guarantee to the playoff games. We have to fight for something we thought was already ours.

On the food, haven't eaten there. Just regular concessions. Had some of the worst tacos

On the beer, where? It's just goose island and the regular stuff (bud) except for one small craft beer kiosk downstairs

The real tragedy here is Bill is being pushed out before Clyde.

 

On the lower concourse (not including the clubs) there's two craft beer bars, I believe one is on the south end and the other is what used to be called the Jack Daniels bar. Here's the full concession list:
