I have tickets for Sunday games and I am very curious to see if the Rockets keep the drummers from last year or go for something new. I personally did not like the drummers at all and would like to have something similiar to the upbeat techno music with flares going all about.

I will be there as well. Not that I had completely forgotten about them, but until reading this thread, as I pcitured the opener in my mind, the drumemrs never showed up. Now, I'll be crossing my fingers to hope that they don't in reality. Good drummers, but not my cup of tea.

Its very hard to appease everyone but if anyone can do it, Chance would be the man.

If you see the very opening to the games w/ Calvin and Bill, you hear the drumming in the backround, the same as last years intro. just w/ different colors. I think they'll still be there. Maybe more to it, though. A different beat, different lights, lots of other crap.

The problem was not enough drummers. I hear they hired about 3 more to add to the effect.

I also have tickets to sunday's game...I'm still debating if I should go. I have an early class monday morning in Austin.

hmm...it is a preseason game, and no starter has actually played any significant minues...tough decision.
