Name a PG the Rockets have ever had for more than 4 years?

Go ahead and give me the all time greatest Rockets PGs.

That does not shock me as Steve does not have much competition AT ALL ! ! !

Yup, right up there with Kidd and McGrady and Bryant. I'm glad that you've seen the "teams we're supposed to beat" play; I guess you get to a lot of lottery team preseason games, but I agree its never too early to write the Rockets season off when you have the worst point guard ever in steve francis on your team.

Steve gets bashed too much. But, weren't we last or 2nd to last in overall assists last year.

Best point guards in Rockets history...IMO

John Lucas - heads and tails above every other point guard the Rockets have ever had.

Steve Francis - Great scorer but still has yet to understand how to run a fast break or lead an efficient offensive attack.

Robert Reid -  Thats right I said Robert Reid. Hell I should have made him second. He only played the position do to a wrist injury to Allen Level coupled with John Lucas exile from the team but he did a great job running the offense. He also matched up better with Magic Johnson pretty damn well in the play-offs that year as I remember.

Sleepy Floyed - His best years were at Golden State and even then he should have been a 2 instead of a 1.

Kenny Smith - Good 3 point shooter that at least understood that you must pass the ball to Hakeem. The fact that Rudy used to take him out of the game during 4th quarter in favor of Scotty Brooks speaks volumes about his weakness as a point guard.

Mike Newlin, Sam Cassell, Allen Levell and Calvin Murphy are the only other ones that come to mind although Calvin made his name at the 2 spot even thought he was so short.
