"I love the sound of the rain on a tinroof on a hot summer night.
Love to hear those hound dogs a' barkin, howlin at the full moon light.
Love to see those fireflies a buzzin' lightin up the Southern sky.
Ya, I'm a hellbent, 100 pecent Texan till I die."

I'm going to have to bump that song through Dallas tomorrow night.

Sorry, but I disagree as I present "Exhibit A":

Actually, I had not heard about MTA (mainly because I use it for PS2). Sounds like a bandwidth issue.

But anwyay, does it work only for PC? Do you have to have the PC version of VC to play it?

Yeah, there's some issues with it still though...I miss my PS2 overall. Even if it can't work with MTA.

I don't want to start a pic war, but:

In all honesty, she's a bit of a two-face. But this ain't Britney Spears--I'm listening for the voice. Download "Look for Me (I'll Be Around)" if you're unfamiliar.

Plus Dido hasn't been blackballed from the Grand Ole Opry for taking her shirt off to avoid heatsroke. Checkmate.

 I didn't know that the Grand Ole Opry was the measuring stick for "hotness" in singers.

Has this Neko Case been in Playboy? Dido has, believe it or not.

Look, I am not saying that she is some sex goddess, but she is not a bad looking woman. I understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but saying that she looks like Bobcat Goldthwait is wrong. The only woman that I can think of that fits that metaphor is Sandra Bernhard:p .

Besides, I would do this every day of the week and twice on Sunday:

It was meant as joke tiebreaker. So  to you too.

    I didn't say that.

Dido's pretty and has a great voice. Neko is the best female singer I've ever heard, except for maybe Joni Mitchell. Check out "Look for Me (I'll Be Around)".

Manny, thats not really a huge compliment to dido, you would do the same to a stuffed animal with a hole in it.

It is amazing how a "" can get people riled up here. Dude, I obviously didn't know that you were joking because you left out a smilie in that post. Unless you are a poster that I am familiar with like moestavern19, keeley, etc, then how do you expect me to know that you are joking without a ";)"?

I actually knew that you didn't say that (deepellum said it), but the way I worded that post made it out that I thought you did. Sorry about that.

I'll have to check it out although it seems like there are way too many CDs for me to check out.

This comment is not directed to you, rudager, but is more of a general comment: I sometimes get the feeling that Dido is looked down on by many people because they feel that she is a "pop" star thanks to her success with "No Angel". Yes, there is one song on her new album that could be another pop hit for her, but IMO, Dido does not use a "formula" approach like many pop singers do today. A big part of that is that she uses electronic textures in many of her songs. So, in conclusion, just because you hear a song by someone on pop radio, don't jump the gun and label that artist a pop star - if that is true, then Dido is the most unlikely pop star there is.

    Oh and moe - STFU :) .

I know of other really nice shots of Neko, but I can't go to those sites while I'm here at work to post them.

Try www.kutie.com. Just don't try it at work.

It was an absurd way to close an argument. Absurdity = jokes and jokes and jokes...

    That's what Soulseek's for!

I liked "Hunter" so much I put it on a mix CD.

Anyway, this is becoming too involved a discussion over essentially nothing. If you like sexy, full female vocals, check out that song. I'd check out Dido, but as you say there's too much else to get to--and I don't have high speed Internet. Woe is me.
