If not for his foot injury last year, the bullpen likely doesn't do a complete collapse in September last year. Before that foot injury, he was doing very well in the setup role.

Here's a fun fact. Among all of the AL teams, the Astros are 2nd in OPS for a catcher.

Astros and Jays are virtually tied for best pitching in the AL. Impressive.

no complaints about the lineup, just notable how young this team is for being in a playoff chase

While I like Altuve getting a bit of a rest at DH, I'd rather see Marwin at first and (*groan*, I can't believe I am typing this) Jake in CF. Thought at some point Reed or White have to start showing the ability to hit MLB pitching (I have greater hope for Reed... White seems lost).

And sorry for the OT (didn't know if there was a better thread to put this, and hate creating lots of new threads)... best wishes to Colby Jack on a ear surgery and recovery.

Love that one pitch that just floats back into the right side of the plate, with the batter standing there in disbelief.....great game.

Same here, very solid lineup. To think it'll only get better when Valbuena comes back and Yuli is as good as advertised.

    Posted in another thread.

Musgrove's ability to keep all pitches in the same arm slot caused a lot of confusion when he was attacking the strikezone.

He has an easy delivery as well so he should avoid arm issues going forward.

I see at worse a number two rotation guy.

Would like to sign Keuchel, and an ace in the offseason.

Swings like that from Breg gives me a lot of confidence in the young kid.
