Quite impressive. Should be given a chance soon. Sometimes for these second half of the season surges I waver between thinking the player having figured it out versus realizing that the best pitchers (in this instance) got promotions up and the new arrivals are struggling with the better competition. Here's to Kemmer figuring it out and forcing is way into The Show.
He's rule 5 eligible this offseason I believe. He should probably get a September call up to see just how worth protecting he is. However, he does seem like the kind of guy who needs some extended time at a level to start producing.
Ronnie Dawson just hit his 6th home run for Tri-City. The ValleyCats are playing a doubleheader today.
He's about a dozen plate appearances shy of qualifying for the Midwest League leaderboard. If he were eligible today, he'd lead the league in batting average by almost 30 points, and would also lead in OBP and OPS.

Awesome Would guess the two extra pitchers going down Either way, out OF has been a disaster so no reason to not see what we have
Chapman wasn't part of the 25 man roster, but you are probably correct about Giles. I suspect Tucker will go down once Giles returns.
Great news. At some point one of these players is going to produce all around from the word go and reasonably sustain that production.

My guess is Tucker or Gustave get sent down once Giles returns. Pretty meaningless since rosters expand in 19 days anyway.
Thank you Josh Fields! Yordan Alvarez 1B Age: 19 Ht: 6' 5" Wt: 225 5 games in DSL .400/.500/.467/.967
The Hooks got no hit through the 8th at home. A 2 run rally in the 9th broke the no no and won the game 2-1.
I'm still confused as to why the Dodgers dealt Alvarez for a AAAA pitcher. They just spent $4 million ($2 million to Alvarez plus $2 million in tax) to sign this kid and then traded him a few weeks later. It just doesn't make much sense to me. But I'll take it!
