I picked a good day to work from home today.

 

Altuve is an animal.

 

But the number of hours does matter... in terms of starters coming back.

I think that is the main "spirit" behind not suspending games that are still very early (i.e. not official).... and it comes from a time where starters were expected to pitch most, if not all, of the game (and any disruption in that would vastly change the outlook of the team).

I agree with you that the rule is archaic and in dire need of updating.... but MLB moves at its own "snail" pace.

For you guys who are stat wizards I am curious what Bregmans batting average is if you start it from his second hit of his career until now. Just ignore the horrid start. Any idea?

 

hes doing better, but seems like hes striking out way more now
