    I will respond as someone who did donate to Clinton's campaign, lives in Minnesota and also saw this story on KARE 11 (The MN NBC affiliate which it was lifted from).

    I donated twice to the Clinton campaign and have had no recurring charges. I'm looking at my credit card statement right now for July 2016 and there are no charges for HillaryforAmerica showing. Other than this story I've yet to hear from anyone else who have donated to the Clinton campaign getting a recurring charge.

    My guess is that this likely a mistake that she was accidentally put on the recurring donation list and very poor customer service on the part of the campaign rather than a scam to inflate donor numbers.
