Yep, to be more specific, when he bats right-handed (against lefties), the injured right hand faces more stress on contact. So he's ready to hit left-handed but not right.
Bautista had a right to complain, that was well off the plate. Tulowitski got a break though, down and away has been a strike on everyone but him.
Know what the difference between hitting .170 and .220 is? It's 25 hits. 25 hits in 500 at bats is 50 points, okay? There's 6 months in a season, that's about 25 weeks. That means if you get just one extra flare a week - just one - a gorp... you get a groundball, you get a groundball with eyes... you get a dying quail, just one more dying quail a week... and you're in the Astros Lineup batting 5th. -- Carlos Gomez
Hinch needs to get off his ****ing ass and stand up for his pitchers. Batter should have been struck out the pitch before. 2-0, the game is probably over now.
I just sold a portion of my soul to a devil. The bats are about to go crazy next inning. It better be worth it.
I would have to agree. Idk what's up with the ump, this team but hinch needs to light a damn fire somewhere.
