Can I have your AUTO-Mo-Graph? Anyway, I believe that one with the PowerDancer Natalie and the little kid giving Yao "High Praise" should be back. I think the little girl was the best actress in there... I want to see Yao do that ABOUT-LEFT like a machine again... it almost looked animatronic... ... but change that little music... put some reggae on there, or something... we jammon'...o/~... we come to jammon' wi-choo... o/~... we jammon'... o/~
Is it just me or is the "old guy" from last nights commercial the same one from last years Yao,Steve and older couple playing Scrabble commercial?
"One commercial that I did like was one from I think two years ago when it shows the diehard fan getting into it watching from home. It showed the fan reacting to plays throughout the game doing things like calling a friend to discuss a play, yelling "Brick" at the tv, turning off the tv in disgust and then seconds later coming back apologizing, and my favorite standing on the sofa in complete somber-faced silence. That guy reminded me of myself watching the Rockets." I LOVED that commercial... I don't really care for the last 2 years commercials though...but whatever. Baseball is gonna end just in time for the season... Red Sox win in 7 vs the Cubs...then the next day...Rockets should be playing their first game
as long as were talking about bad comercials Why does Toyota, in a city with 4 million people and 6 lane highways ONLY advertise 4Runners and Tundras? and even going as far as saying something along the lines of "Tundra, made for Houston" or something like that.
Oh God please stop, or else I am gonna have to start talking about those Old Navy commercials with that old lady with the huge glasses and the dog!
Well, here in Austin I'm always getting asked what is up with the Rockets. The truth is that when Les took over the team the first thing he wanted to do was to make it "family friendly". Which we learned later meant to turn the Summit into a freaking circus. Hey look, if you like the silly sound effects, a big stuffed bear walking around, and making our guys wear clown suits and now some sort of silky PJ's, then thats cool, but my opinion is that I'd rather have some classic hard-nosed basketball played by men, not cartoon characters.
I've seen them on Sports Center also as well as the media day pics. Actually, the red ones are OK, but the white ones are waaay too white and waaaaaaaay too shiney. I've seen other posters say they look like Hugh Hefner's silky PJ's and I agree. What party is on the September 29th? Did I miss it or are you planning a year in advance?
The Pajama uni's were terrible, everyone knew it, BUT even then we were not a running joke in the NBA. I think we catch more ish for our isolation offense and underacheivement then we do for our "silky PJ's." Maybe thats just me... You seem to be more concerned with the bells & whistles then the X's & O's.... give us a berth in the playoffs and your silky PJ's will be worn by kids across the globe. Oh yeah, clutch the bear and turbo kick ass.... the drummer boys unfortunately do not.
For a organization that has sooo much money, are the Rox ever going to spend more than 54 bucks on a commercial?
HEY TIM How about a MAKE OUR COMMERCIAL CONTEST!!! Rocket River betting someone from Clutchcity would win!
Yeah my family and I were in it too. I diddent think it was soo bad, they just played it too much. -Josh
