I can't begin to describe how vitally important the Milwaukie game is to the Rockets' playoff chances. This is an opportunity to go 5 games above .500, and get back to 2.5 games behind the SplinterWolves. Beating Milwaukie would boost confidence, and make the Rockets 13-0 against the central division. Huge, huge game. Their offense and defense will have to be strong.
Since they got a relatively easy win tonight, I'm going to make my prediction:
101-90 Rockets. They own the central, and the east. They just can not come into the Bradley center feeling cocky. Hopefully Big Dog will be out.

Rockets have to play alot smarter and not be down early. Tonight they got lucky because Chicago sucks and I knew they can come back. I would like to see Hakeem get alot of touches inside early so he can open the outside players.

Expect a shootout. Like i said in another thread, if there is another winning team with a worse defense then ours it's Milwaukee. They HAVE no defense! If the Rockets bench comes to play, and Mo is able to play, and Dream has a big game I see a Rocks win.

    Prediction:

Nah don't want to jinx the game with an actual score. Rocks by 4.

How is this game so important? Every game is important. A win against the warriors counts the same as a win against the Bucks. It's not about the Rockets winning one game, its about them being consistent and going 3-1 or 4-1. As long as they stay away from back to back losses, they'll be ok. The Rockets do have the ability to tear off a long winning streak though.

Actually ZRB is right. This is a big game because the Bucks aren't pushovers, even if they are in the East and this game could set us up for a winning streak if we beat Dallas over the weekend.

Let's not look too far ahead though and focus on Milwaukee. They are beatable because, as Smeg insinuated, the Bucks don't play much defense. Another thing is, everyone is going to have to step their game up, especially the outside shooters because George Karl is infamous for running double and triple teams in the post. Look for Cat, Shandon and Francis to have big games. We need them too!

Since we own Milwaukee's 1st Rd draft pick, and that must be their own pick, I wish the Bucks lose every time they play.

    Rockets 99
    Bucks 95

The key to this game is Olajuwon as usual... Tonight, he will be guarded by some horrible big men... The Bucks have arguably the worst combo of PF/C in the league...

Olajuwon needs to be able to give us 15, 10, and 3 blocks...

Also, Mo Taylor, if he does play, needs to take advantage of Darvin Ham/Ervin Johnson/Pryzbilla/Caffey/McD's french fry cooker, or whoever it is guarding him...

This is one of the rare times in which our big men are better than our opponents...

We must take advantage of it because Sam/Ray are going to equal out Francis/Mobley...

So in essence Olajuwon and Taylor have to outdo the Big Hog...

The game has added importance because right now the Bucks' pick for the Collier deal is 22nd. There are 4 teams within 2 wins of Milwaukee. A #18 pick is better than a #22 and thus the Rocks are controlling their own destiny with a win!

I think Hakeem will be the difference vs. the inept Bucks defense. They have no answer for him.

    Rockets 100
    Bucks 96

I like this game because all those Eastern Conference fans out there have been talking about how good they are and how little respect they get. 2nd place Eastern Conference team vs. 9th place Western Conference team ... let's see how they really measure up.

I like our chances, Rockets fans :)
