Baseball is a strange game, wouldn't be surprised if he somehow pitched well. Not betting on it but still you get my point.

 

Ok so Bregman is getting at least two hits tomorrow with another good outing for Fiers. The good news from this game is that if Marisnick keeps hitting, he'll stick in the lineup keeping Gomez on the bench.

 

Hopefully Fiers has it going tomorrow. We need to start putting some w's together. We are around .500 the last 15-20 games.

 

Ok sorry .500 over last 10. We need to win 7 of our next 10.

7 of 10 would be great but just keep winning the majority of series while avoiding getting swept and the playoffs will take care of themselves.

If they take these next two and 4 of the 7 on the homestand, that's still playing great baseball.

Its looking like VV might happen to the Rangers.

 

Seriously, we need to get an ace. McHugh has regressed to his mean. McCullers and Keuchel are our only reliable starters.

 

Man, if VV goes to the Rangers and helps them beat us for the division this board will explode.

Oh my damn. We would just have to hope Rangers lose the trade overall... whether it's VV underperforming and/or the prospects balling hard.

Vince Velazquez. Rangers are in talks to acquire him from Phillies.

 

I don't think rangers will aquire anyone else. And thier last deal sucked. Alvarez stunk it up today. Astros line up is fine. It's even arguable it's better then the rangers. Rangers pitching has been blown out alot

 

Less than a week ago, they were hitting 5 HR's and sweeping the Angels.

But, yeah... They haven't been hot since then... Or since yesterday.

Yeah ok. Between you and some other douche 3/4 of my posts are followed with some lame snark about how i sound like some banned poster. Its old already and my last comment was merely a baseball comment. It all started with me critisizing gomez. Well, I think that's become pretty mainstream at this point.

 

How would you know anything about that? Didn't you just join here a few weeks ago?

It's also very odd that you keep pointing out the need to talk baseball.

 

I swear there are people who don't understand the 162 game season and baseball in general. Just because a pitcher has a 5 ERA doesn't mean he is going to be bad a certain night...like Pineda the other night.
