Bobby Brown's attempt at evaluating talent is probably fair but his delivery sucks!

he's 20/21 years old. i love DMo and he's a similar type of player but was he starting at 20/21 for his national team? come to think of it, is he currently starting for his national team?

He'll never be like that. Have you see the food the Chinese team actually eats? Just a bunch of synthetic processed foods to a degree that is much worse than that definition in America or most of the rest of the world.

lol i don't think anyone is expecting him to start already. don't think it matters that hes not starting on his national team. yes he may very well be an international bum but why not find out themselves? a guy this tall with that type of skill set, its worth a deep shot in the dark.

dude you are insane and reading it the wrong way. my guess is English is not your first language and stuff is being lost in translation. hes not slighting him. kristap is a potential franchise player, so to say Zhou is comparable to him, just not on the same level, should be taken as a compliment.

LOL considering Porzingis is trending to be one of the top big men in the NBA if we can get a "poor man's Porzingis" then it's a steal for a 2nd round pick. Hell, a poor man's Porzingis probably is a perennial all star look at Ryan Anderson he's not just poor he's like in $2M debt version of Porzingis and we just paid him 20M a year.

Zhou Qi is the stomped by Terrence Jones version of Porzingis.

Rockets basically have zero cap space in 2017, so this thread is relevant as Qi's success is directly tied to the future of this team. Our main hope for a championship is that he turns into the next Porzingus or Ming to go along with Harden. We have no money and are out of assets to trade....Qi or Dekker turning into stars is currently our only hope to compete for a championship in the West.

Would qi be starting for Lithuania? Nope. 3rd string at best.

Would motie start on China? Yes. There's a chance he'd actually be their best player in general.

Sorry to break the circle jerk.

That is not true. Yi Jianlian is out of NBA, but he is a far better player in FIBA than DMo. You can't gurarantee DMo to start on China.

Has DMo ever been as dominant as Zhou Qi in the international youth games? Zhou put up 41/28/15b against Germany, 30/17/8b against Turkey, both quality teams. He also broke the world youth games record in blocks. I don't think DMo is capable of that kind of performances.

Yet neither are capable of breaking the starting lineup in their countries.
