LOL considering Porzingis is trending to be one of the top big men in the NBA if we can get a "poor man's Porzingis" then it's a steal for a 2nd round pick. Hell, a poor man's Porzingis probably is a perennial all star look at Ryan Anderson he's not just poor he's like in $2M debt version of Porzingis and we just paid him 20M a year.
Rockets basically have zero cap space in 2017, so this thread is relevant as Qi's success is directly tied to the future of this team. Our main hope for a championship is that he turns into the next Porzingus or Ming to go along with Harden. We have no money and are out of assets to trade....Qi or Dekker turning into stars is currently our only hope to compete for a championship in the West.

That is not true. Yi Jianlian is out of NBA, but he is a far better player in FIBA than DMo. You can't gurarantee DMo to start on China. Has DMo ever been as dominant as Zhou Qi in the international youth games? Zhou put up 41/28/15b against Germany, 30/17/8b against Turkey, both quality teams. He also broke the world youth games record in blocks. I don't think DMo is capable of that kind of performances.
