I just checked ticketmaster and there are still $26.50 seats left for tonights game. Ticketmaster just offered me a pair of $26.50 seats in row H of section 237. A decent seat at a reasonable price. Sell out the Summit tonight. Pippen Sucks.
Sorry to let you down but its still 2,000 tickets left. ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
I seriously can not believe that we can not sell the place out for a game like tonight's.... disgraceful. As Jack Nicholson put it: "This town needs an enema!" ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET

That's sad. A chance to boo Snottie should sell out. ------------------ Watch Cat's Corner every Sunday night on Fox 26 news at 9! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROCKETS!
Sorry jamcracker... Not much chance that I'll be skipping school again to catch the Rockets... But I agree that this should be an easy sell-out... Does the average Houstonian even KNOW that this team is hot? ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -
No. As for me, I can't afford even the $26 at this point. That's the breaks when you are breaking into business for yourself. ------------------ "You know what they say about the music business. Here today, gone TODAY! - Chris Rock at the MTV Music Video Awards
I'm at work, and our internet server is acting up. I'm getting lots of timeouts and 'couldn't find the page you requested". But what's worse is that I can't get a feed from SportsTerminal for the audio to the game. Aaargh! Oh man this is gonna suck if I can't even listen to the game! ------------------ Behad Sergeant at Arms of the Clutch BBS
So was the game packed? Sellout? ------------------ We can reach our destination, but it's still a ways away.
Lots of great tickets left at ticketmaster.com . A pair in row D in section 207 for $34/each. A pair in row Q in section 210 for $46/each. A pair in row G in section 203 for $26.50/each. Sell out the Summit tonight. Pippen sucks. Seating Chart
"So was the game packed? Sellout?" I don't know what the official attendance was, but my friend visiting from London bought a ticket from the box office after the 1st Q started.
Here's a telling story for ya' Darkhorse. I was at Academy on All-Star Sunday getting some bbque'n supplies at the behest of Behad (hey I like that phrase, hehe). The women at the checkout counter asked if I was getting ready for "the game". Wow, it isn't like a Super Bowl game or anything. I didn't expect someone to equate bbque'n with the NBA all-star game. She said, "So, who are you rooting for? I want the West. But, I'm upset the Rockets didn't get anyone. I think they should have two playing." At this point having been thoroughly surprised by her NBA awareness, I was amazed she was going to say Francis and Mobley...a big homey that would make her. But alas, she said, "Barkley and that other one...[pause]....Francis." shake my head. [This message has been edited by heypartner (edited February 27, 2001).]
maybe everyone is anticipating the new stadium. ------------------ Sometimes you gotta do the next best thing!
No offense, Smokey, but "Those $10 seats if not sold out become hella of a lot expensive when you count parking ... "
Summit Parking is FREE!
You guys are really stretching for excuses when you blame the f*cking free parking.
more accurately,
All fees are included in the ticket price
My understanding is: the man who built the Summit donated it to the city for free. Why? Because the city in turn helped make the Greenway Plaza area a parking bonanza. [This message has been edited by heypartner (edited February 27, 2001).]
Oh...I did not know that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I have never been to Compaq Center therefore I do not know the parking situation. Someone told me it was $10 per car. [This message has been edited by Smokey (edited February 27, 2001).]
Yeah, all of the NBA fan cost index pages I've seen say that Summit parking is $10. I can't figure out why. As far as I know, there are only two options: "free" (included in ticket price) parking, and VIP parking for $25. So, Smokey, can I expect to see you at the next game? [This message has been edited by jamcracker (edited February 27, 2001).]
heypartner: The Summit was built by the city with tax dollars on land bought by the city. The parking garage was donated to the city in exchange for other Greenway Plaza land. Of course, in 1975, there was no Greenway Plaza! The parking garage has created some real problems over the years from what I recall during the campaign because the cooling systems for Compaq are located somewhere in them or very near them. Anyway, just wanted to clarify. ------------------ "You know what they say about the music business. Here today, gone TODAY! - Chris Rock at the MTV Music Video Awards
