[Who Asked For This Cinema] Taylor Swift's Boyfriend & Brie Larson's 'Kong: Skull Island' <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/YAbI4w95cTE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Larson's business manager? I won't watch it, and the release date seems a little cautious, but this could be an easy quarter billion. I don't know what she's making eating brains every week on a UHF signal, but this could be her retirement fund.

I would like to mate with Brie Larson. Anyways looks like a nice summer popcorn flick. Will it eventually cross with Godzilla?
Yes, the goal is to cross with Godzilla. Which is why they are making Kong much larger in this movie. -KONG: Skull Island -Godzilla 2 (2019) -Kong vs Godzilla (2020) ..is the pipeline I believe.
I wonder what the purpose is, of those explorers wanting to take out Kong. Why not just leave him be?
Thought the trailer was pretty good. Not Great. But these military vs monster flics usually bomb. There needs to be some more meat generally. They should bring back the last girl too, as she was stunning and beautifully shot in the last movie when she was on the mainland.
I'm always down for giant monster movies. I looked up this director on IMDb. Never heard of him before or anything he has done. Interesting when guys like that suddenly get the opportunity to helm a giant movie with huge effects budgets. Hopefully he proves himself.
I literally lost interest in the first second of the trailer when I heard that effin overused synth sound effect. I wish they would just stop giving away the plot and the surprises. Imagine how thrilled you would be to see Kong during the movie if you had only heard of what they're planning to do with the character. So much drivel in the theatres. Can't wait for remakes to die out.
I have absolutely no problem with a 20-25 feet tall King Kong but this 200 feet tall Kong exceeds my ability to suspend disbelief. I'm not sure why but I feel like previous Kongs were almost possible based on some of the super-sized land animals of the past but this is just too much. Doesn't make much sense, I know. That said, I will watch this.
Did you have an issue with Godzilla being that big? Because apparently that's the reason for super-sizing this one (if the poster up thread is to be believed). I'm absolutely willing to suspend the additional sense of disbelief if it means I get to see gigantic Kong fighting gigantic Godzilla.
Monster movies are great fun when done well, I'll definitely check this out. Just looked up the director. Kings of Summer is a really good movie and You're the Worst is a really good tv show but I have no idea how those things got a studio to put him on a project like this. Also the guy who wrote this also wrote Safety Not Guaranteed (good!) and Jurassic World (uh oh?).
