    Hope there aren't many casualties. :( Very sad about this. No reports of deaths yet, let's hope it stays that way.

    I live in the UK and travel around Europe a fair bit for work (including the big cities), so this does make me a little nervous - I know the chances are very very slim, but still... guess we don't know anything about the shooter yet though.

    Thoughts and prayers to the people of Munich. I hope some of these numbers are incorrect and I hope there is a very small loss of life.

    I love that city and have close friends there.

    But all of these recent troubles, including the bizarre axe attack, play into the right leaning narrative of isolation, clearly. Munich has a kind of tragic history in that regard.

    There are idiots everywhere in every religion and in every culture...

    Right now they don't even know if this was ISIS and I wouldn't be surprise if half the things that are blamed on ISIS are true... But ISIS is not going to turn down the publicity...
