This guy will be option number 2 come playoff time when it gets real. Anderson and Gordon will be good but they will have games where they on and off but mostly on. Harden and Nene will be great together and will create for others.
I really think Nene will be a pleasant surprise for us in the offense. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Hq8oi5Y_ngI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Didn't want to start a new thread, but what happened to the pre-season olympian? We finally got him and now he already looks too old and once we shorten that rotation up, Montrez definitely outplayed him and he might find himself as occasional throw-in. Is it age?
Slow but slowly as the season goes on.... and when clint comes back..... Its going to be a two man game with harrell and capella.... nene would only be in there situationally.
Nene is like the Mutombo signing years back for Yao. Not expected to play much but when we need him he is there.
Ow no doubt, love the guy's attitude and he gets his baskets every now and again, but that olympian pre-season version caused me to think he was going to fight Capela for that starting role and be a 10-15 PPG kind of guy. He's been alright, but at 33 he should be more than just a 37 year old Mutombo who cannot jump anymore. The great passing, quick moves and finishes and rebounding we've seen but not consistently.
