It's difficult because the drafters are all over the globe. We tried to wait, but that lead to 8-10 hours of dead time sometimes. We all voted that if you're going to bed, you SHOULD send your picks to someone that way if you do happen to be gone, draft can progress as much as possible. It's not perfect, but it seems to be fair enough for everyone to accept.
This guy is a beast. Another one I was scared from taking because of perception. I've been considering him since when I picked carmelo.
Elton Brand was 7th in rebounds in 05-06. My entire team is above average in rebounding for their position. I have so much height from my guards and wings. AK47 plays the Draymond Green role as well as Draymond does (he was probably an even better on ball defender than Draymond). Pretty even on help D.
I was going back and forth several times between Sikma and Laimbeer. I typed in Sikma's name but figured I had enough offense and needed a more dirty player. Nice pick. The 80s is where there is a lot of value left. Though some good players in the 90s are slipping by. I feel like there are still some players available that could have gone number 1 overall in this draft.
Elton Brand played mostly Power Foward. He will not outrebound other centers though. Also if you think Ak47 is similar as Draymond you are high. Not as strong lower body wont be able to do the same things as draymond in anchoring a D in the low post.
Not as good at post D sure. But insanely good at help defense. AK47 led the league in blocks. Ridiculously fast hands as well.
Actually, scrap it. I'm assuming everyone here is an advanced stat nerd so I shouldn't have to argue AK47's value.
