No, I was saying they should have extended DMo when they had the chance, and when he was still coming off of injury to a 3 year deal - I am sure DMo would have taken the security.

he is not a leader - if Jason Terry is your leader you are not going to be led anywhere good.

    :)

That is like Rafer Alston as your leader - just not a good solution.

When it comes to asset managment it's better to pay market price now and then sell later than let go for nothing.
BUT with the knowledge of the real situation with DMO' back. If Dmo's back according to doctors is really carreer threatening or they think there's a big chance he will never be the same again then better let him go.

Dmo said his back was fine when we traded him. How did that turn out?

Dmo said his back was fine during last offseason. He was posting videos of him working out and everything. Hmmm how did that turn out?

And, outwardly, it looks like the Rockets have expressed to him that they want to keep him - based on his meeting with MDA and Morey prior to free agency, making the QO and it coming out that we're continuing to have contract talks.

However, one thing that stood out from the Woj podcast with Morey is that he emphasized the importance of having a good relationships with agents. It stood out to me because i've never heard him mention it in interviews before, but he mentioned it multiple times as an important part of running an organization.

So, the Rockets could very well be creating the outward perception that they still value him in order to help him improve his market (especially after the rescinded trade).

If teams are concerned about the back, the team that has the most information about his health saying they still want him is HUGE solid for him and his agent.

Dmo says he would like to be back. His agent is talking to the rockets and other teams.

    Marc Berman posted on Twitter.

That squad looks horrid defensively. Even worse, half of them is injury prone.

You have only 3 plays that can play defense. Beverley, Ariza and Capela. One is injury prone, one is 31, one is too damn skinny.

Really hope we can make some trades.

nene is still a good defensive big. dmo can play good d if he's not healthy and not defending centers.

Nene is still very much a superior paint defender to Capela. Nene is a plus defensive anchor. I'd be just fine with starting him and trading Capela if he is healthy.

That's like believing every word that falls out of Morey's lips.
