the tracker is known to be super buggy, wouldn't bother using it until they fix it

the best strategy is to level up your trainer, because at higher levels you getter better pokeman spawns

best way to level is to collect the common monsters with 12 or 25 candy evolves (pidgey, ratatta, etc), then when you have a bunch, use your lucky egg (doubles xp for 30 min) and evolve everything you can. Don't evolve pidgetos for xp, it costs too much candy, transfer them for candy and evolve pidgeys instead.

use candies to evolve (instead of powering up a monster) until you get to higher trainer level

and you have the right idea, find a good walking route where you can keep hitting pokestops over and over, they refresh every 5 min so plan your route accordingly

Fantastic, thank you for the tips. I live a 5 minute walk from a hotspot in Arlington. Half an hour ago there were 5 pokestops lit up with lures, all within a a qurater mile radius. I have no excuse not to do well.

 

I have created a new term called Pokelurking. I love coming to this thread and reading about all of the pokemon adventures. Its better than watching the show lol.

 

there should really be a way to throw away eggs. dont want 2 KM ones but cant get rid of them.

Was at Kemah today and the water fountain area was pretty happening for this. Three PokeStops with constant lure modules. Caught a wild Flareon and Slowbro there as did a few other folk.

Yes, no reason to keep more than 2 of any kind. Really not a reason to keep more than 1, but I personally like to keep a spare.

The 2k ones can hold the three starters or Pikachu so don't be so hasty to get rid of them.

I'm having issues with my pokeballs. I had well over 120 plus balls and all of a sudden, I have none. I saw some people having issues with it also.

sounds like a glitch. maybe just log back in.

once you've claimed a gym, do you need to return to its location to claim the reward?
