    I like the bearded look on Van Gundy... he should go for it.
    Yao is getting his elbow iced. Must still be sore after his fall during the Asian Games. Hope it goes away soon. He'll have plenty of new aches and pains to worry about.

    That should win some kind of award for creativity. I can see Van Gundy in Raising Arizona:

    "I'll be taking this Gatorade and whatever cash you got."

    "The playoffs last year were a rocky place where our seed could find no purchase."

    Or better yet, Van Gundy in Leaving Las Vegas. The Rockets drive him to drink.

    JVG thought he'd get to relax coaching here instead of under the major spotlight of New York sports... but now he's realizing he's gotta deal with Mark Cuban 24/7...that's why he looks like that!
