90% of this board wouldn't be happy if $1 million jumped into your wallet. You would find a way to complain about how it made your pocket too big.
Man we got some garbage fans around here. This is a nice gesture to the city of Houston, how can anyone that's a fan of the team hate or not like this? Smh We just guaranteed ourselfs 3 more years of no distractions with a young mvp caliber all NBA player who's only 26. He deserves the money it's not even debatable, there's nothing wrong with giving James Harden the Max while he's entering his prime, it's called good business. But some of you wouldn't know what that is even if it slapped you in the face. If the rockets make you some of You guys so upset why do you still come around here or even care about the team? We could have landed KD and some of you would still find a reason to complain.
God....Clutchfans is truly a cesspool of Rockets talk. Just appreciate the kind of player we get to watch for the next 3 years, at least.
POKE THAT BEAR! They ain't even that good, right? James Harden takes another shot at super teams in open letter to Rockets fans
If nothing else, the letter should help him stay focused in the offseason. Kinda like when people that are trying to lose weight post their progress on Facebook so they can hold themselves accountable. I just hope we don't start getting weekly shirtless Harden selfies throughout the summer.
Yeah, im stoked about watching a 118 mil player and his ole defense. His heart pumps kool aid and that is not a player that will ever lead you to a ring. Its really sad that for first time in my life where ive stopped supporting a team because 9f one player on a roster. Hopefully our new players are ready for the "Last second on the shot clock pass"
Htown just know we will give it our all but these Super teams will be too hard to beat. Once we get Westbrook and Cousins in here we will win another Championship. So please be patient. One more year.
Actually psychological studies show that has the opposite effect. Of course for a public figure it isn't realistic to keep your goals to yourself https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/ulterior-motives/200905/if-you-want-succeed-don-t-tell-anyone If you want to succeed, don’t tell anyone. It is better not to tell people who you want to be. Posted May 28, 2009
Looks like I'm in the minority, but I really appreciate this from James. He could've easily accepted his raise and continued life as normal, but instead he's getting his teammates together to work out, reaching out to the fans, etc. It shows leadership and maturity, and I'm optimistic that it will show on the court.
I do not think they are contenders this year but they could be back to being a Top 6 in couple years. One of the contenders and not the favorite, so the odds getting to the Finals are still mediocre at best
