    THE NBA SEASON HAS FINALLY STARTED FOR US!

    Finally we get to see the new uniforms on the Rockets and see the new players show off their skills.

    Even though this is the 1st game and it's the preseason, how does the matchup fare tonight??

    Lots of turnovers. Grind it out style of game. I am saying it right here: Alex Scales with the game winner.

    I'm anxious to see the Pete Cornell/Jason Jennings and the Melvin Sanders/David Jackson matchups.

    The team that scores the most points will win the game, and you can take that to Vegas, it's freakin' preseason, alot of scrubs will get alot of playing time.

    Francis: 20 mins
    Mobley: 20 mins
    Jackson: 25 mins
    E.Griffin: 28 mins
    Cato: 25 mins

    Yao: 0 mins

    portland will experiment with qyntel woods to see if he is worth running an offense through. houston will try to reconfirm whether or not boki was a bust.

    Portland will show off their so-called "line-up of the future" by giving Qentyl Woods, Travis Outlaw, and Zach Randolph big minutes and will finally realize that athleticism alone doesn't win you games.

    this sounds pretty accurate. i am afraid, however, that all our fears about boki will be confirmed soon enough. i think you will also see mooch and eddie play lots of minutes- seems they have a lot to prove.

    The score doesn't matter to me either. Just to see them play and know the NBA season is back is what I'm hype for.

    Steve will get blamed for not passing to Yao.....and Yao will not suit up. lol

    Yao will play I'll bet. But only less than 10 mins but will have 4 points and 5 rebounds. Francis will have 25+ points.

    Houston: 103
    Portland: 89

    May I'm a bit too optimistic, but I don't really care, just glad to see the Rockets back in action.

    For the record, Van Gundy said Yao "did fine." He said Yao will probably be held out of tonight's game at the Rose Garden.
