I'd actually be surprised if Speights re-signed with Golden State. He's 28 and is a productive NBA player. He would have to play for the veteran minimum in a year where a guy like Arthur is getting guaranteed $8 million a year.

Speights hasn't had a big contract yet. Is he really going to take a paycut from $3 million, the most he's ever earned, to a minimum deal instead of looking for like $21-$30 million guaranteed? I'd be shocked, and he would be stupid to do so.

Speights is a guy I'd really like to get on the team as a reserve.

Wow, don;t really like Ezeli at all but at that price tag Portland got a steal IMO.

 

He just got waived. If we picked him up, we could have not one, but two Shaqtin a Fool winners on our squad.

 

Saw Javale McGee play in the Drew League last weekend for his own team. Played the whole game and was like 1-9 on threes. It was delightful.
