I'm not going... but I wanted to brag about a concert I did see (years ago). Lindsey Buckingham's Out of the Cradle tour at the Back Room in Austin. There were about 12 musicians on stage, 2 guys at the humongous mixing boards, and about 200 people in the audience. I later read that it was one of the very first solo performances he had ever made since it was the very beginning of that tour, and he had never toured by himself before. ...which would explain why he was going beserk on stage. The Austin Chronicle review said it was like Philp Glass conducting an orchestra in your living room. Amazing.
I think my aunt and uncle are going. It is like a birthday present for my uncle or something. I probably won't hear much about it though.
I walked by there on the way to the Toyota Tundra Garage where I park when I drive into work. It was almost 6pm and I didn't see many people around the place. The event didn't start until 8pm though. Man that place is nice. btw - the goals are up in the practice court and the nets!
I drove by that place real quick this afternoon too. I saw people at the Box Office. Lots of 35+ people.
