Not alot to gain having him play tomorrow night. Ideally, you don't want one of your best players missing a game, especially after missing some training camp.

6 or 7 games plus practice should be enough for him to get in tune with his teamates.

Heck, I would hold him out of the Seattle game too.

title of this thread made me think that Yao wasn't going to play in the regular season opener. I suppose that wasn't that logical though..

I don't really care if he misses the first exhibition game.
