And let's not forget that Durant inexplicably screws up the last play of a regular season game that would have prevented GSW from breaking the 72 game record.
Curry Thompson and green are not on max deals that how this happened curry is only making 12 mill. Golden state better at Morey ball than Morey himself
Yes, it is true. And no, he didn't on the bolded. His teams won with him playing great. In those series and in big moments he faltered. Compare that to Hakeem who upped his play when we won titles, or Dirk when he upped his play when he won his. Barkley played worse, on a team built around him playing great. That's not doing his part and one of the main reasons he is not a champion is because he never stepped it up when he had teams that could have won the title. For example, his best chance to win was likely 95 when they were up on us 3-1. Barkley avg 23/11/4 on 49% shooting in 95. In G5 he had 17 pts on 36% shooting, with 6 turnovers. That's not doing his part. He had a great G6, numbers wise. In G7 he had 18 pts on 44% shooting, with 7 turnovers. That's not doing his part. Up 3-1 he laid an egg in 2 of the remaining 3 games, AT HOME. G6 of the 93 Finals was lost with him failing to close out on Paxson, giving up the series winning shot. We lost to Utah with him making the same mistake against Stockton. When it was time to step up Barkley didn't. The other guys we mentioned have instances of stepping up. That's reality. And you can choke in big moments even if you have a great game or series. See Isiah Thomas vs Boston when he threw the ball away. LeBron in 2011 vs Dallas. Etc. Dirk had multiple great playoff runs, and he led two teams to the Finals, winning one. He can't rebound or pass like Chuck, but he damn sure can close games wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than him. Winning time, give him the ball. That's not what he's saying. That's what you take from his actions. He could want to play in GS because their system is tailor made for him and he would prefer to live there than in OKC. Barkley is a hypocrite.

The only way this team fails is injury. I don't think chemistry will be a problem at all. The Warriors are all unselfish, and Durant seems to be as well. Before, people would say 'Steph and Klay won't BOTH be off for a game'... now add Durant to that sentence. Insanity. Also, I think there's a chance he could still be 'the man' on this team. Steph and Klay aren't the type to care about that stuff (Steph told Durant he'd be in the front row cheering for him if he won MVP). All these guys just want to play ball at a beautiful level. I look at this like a top musician fitting seamlessly into a great orchestra. And he's not 6'9... check pic below:

Boogie joked that he told KD to stop standing next to him. Damn, he's much taller than Cousins in that pic, just look at shoulder level. He's just as tall as Jordon. WHo's that fat chubby guy on the right???? Oh right, Marsh MELO
'You the real MVP', along with the tears, were directed at his mother. I'm pretty sure that wasn't a farce lol. Are you really comparing being able to 'run it back' right away to having to spend an entire year (or more) of your life attached to a team? As far as analogies go, this one is pretty ridiculous. Best post of the thread and I'm finally caught up after 53 pages. Let the hate continue to flow!
i have sympathy for athletes having to be locked into their situation for a whole year at a time. getting your brains beat in for 82 straight games on a 20-62 team is a lot tougher than getting to switch up a terrible pickup team you're on. but comparing equal teams playing against each other and then not stacking one of them to easily beat the other wasn't exactly way out there and ridiculous. should i have made an analogy to all of the guaranteed contract pick-up leagues out there?
i just hope somehow the GSW choke in the playoffs and gets beat again by sb, anyone, next year and loses out on the title which 100% should be theirs to get next year
