    Hopefully Ewing won't pass on all of his blown last minute two footers to win...

    I think Ewing will be a great coach for our big man...just look what he did with the wizards big men, Kwame brown, and Haywood. *hold back laughter*

    I thought it was agreed that generally (and I mean generally) star/superstar players aren't magnificent coaches. Guys like Phil and Larry Brown rode the benches thoughout their careers. I believe someone said, "Mediocre basketball players make expert commentators and coaches." It would have been nice if Bird stayed long enough to prove this all wrong.

    Also, Hakeem being Yao's tutor is just silly. How is Hakeem suppose to teach his quickness and God given talents? It's like Clyde on his first coaching day at UH. He must have been like, "Wait a minute. You guys can't dunk from the free throw line?"

    so based on this logic, are you saying rudy was a bad player or a bad coach.
