He's probably heading to LA so he can star in his own reality show called Keeping Up With The Beard.

We're stuck in 2nd gear because we don't want to waste Harden's prime. The scramble for scraps has left up cap heavy and unquestionably mediocre.

With the Durant signing, I'd go Full Hinke and load up for three years.

The upside for Le$ is the massive savings in salary money that makes up for endorsements and ticket sales.

Just go plan B with billing up an Asian player even if he doesn't pan out ala Jeremy Lin.

That said, I would love to see Harden function in a Rockets team built for him that uses his talents to the fullest while not living and dying on iso ball. I just don't see that happening right now.

Depends on Murray's moves in the upcoming years.

First of all, there's no maybe with the clippers. They ARE better. Then you have Portland who was better than us last year. OKC w/out Durant still has more talent. Memphis as well and Minny and Utah might just leap frog us in the standings. I find it very difficult to see where we even reach the playoffs barring any unforeseen injuries to key players on these teams

    I voted the third option.

To me, since i don't see us getting that better in two years, if a team like the Celtics will go after him, he'll bolt.

I say no. The trajectory of the team needs to change big time and quick for him to stay.

In 2 years teams will look different from today. If any of thr teams he likes look amazing, I could see him leaving.

I thought about this yesterday. Given the trend in today's game, and the need to be famous and around celebrities, there is about a 98% chance Harden leaves Houston. I just don't see Harden as the type to say "I love this city, my loyalty is with Houston, I am staying here for the rest of my career". As soon as Westbrook gets traded Harden's main goal will be to get out of Houston

Depends. If he's all about the money, he stays. If he wants a ring badly(cuz he clearly ain't getting one the next 2 seasons), he bolts. The Catch 22 is you don't really wanna build around a guy who only cares about the money, but you also don't wanna lose him for nothing.

Will it really get to that point though? Are the Rockets really stupid enough to hang onto Harden through the end of the 2017-18 season and risk him walking like Durant and LeBron did? I have to believe if they're going nowhere, that they'll deal him by February 2018 at the very latest.

I'd say yes, Les won't let Morey trade Harden unless James asks out.
