Westbrook must feel like he's attending a funeral of a friend and another friend dies at the funeral, lol. Man you not only leave your team but you leave them for the people who beat damn that's savage. On subject though I could care less how the rockets play next season I would almost rather we trace harden and tank a few years. Harden will just leave us for a super team himself soon anyway.
Well if you believe nothigni s guaranteed then you should be a fan of the signings. Gordon and Anderson make the team significantly better which increases the chance of winning a ring. We can totally go for a 3rd seed now after Spurs and GSW.
My father overdosed after smoking half a joint. Thanks for bringing up those memories on Father's Day.
Maybe. Just can't believe the state of the league. What a puss maneuver. Keep it up and this league that pays you so well will start to lose revenue as fans of lower tier teams begin to ask themselves what the point is of buying tickets to see substandard competition. Hell if I was a season ticket holder I wouldn't renew. What's the point? I'm a fan of competition. Of men making themselves into the man on a team. What's the entertainment of seeing the equivalent of a pro team whip a college team.
Is Westbrook is the competitor that I think he is, I bet he doesn't give a damn about this. Also why are we already crowning these guys? We did that with last season's team and they lost in the finals. I bet Curry gets injured.
I'd rather go see the Harlem Globetrotters because they will at least have some entertainment value...
Yep. Kobe/Shaq/Malone/Payton + a coach with a dozen rings couldn't get it done. I predict the Warriors don't even make the finals next year. Too much pressure. If they don't win 70+ games and get a trophy, it'll be considered a catastrophic failure. Those guys will wilt under the pressure just like they did this year in the finals.
I would bet they actually win FEWER games than they did last season. That's not a knock, they were historically good last season. What they did last year is extremely difficult. There have been many stacked teams over the course of history, but nobody goes undefeated.
Doesn't matter. Too many superstar egos causes little frictions that become big frictions. Are you going to tell me that Curry and Thompson are such selfless players that when KD starts trying to take a veteran leader role, they won't be thinking, "Hey, this is OUR team and we won a title. What have YOU done?" Or that Klay will like being considered the fourth best player on his team? Chemistry will suffer. It always does in these cases. The Warriors' best moment of this coming season will be their October SI cover.
I still can't believe Less and Mooorreeyy didn't convinced KD to come here and play with beard man. We still have a whole 10 mill left, one player team -with a lot of assets and coach, who looks better than Pringles toon, come on DM what they was teaching you in MIT?
