    It is laughable, isn't it?

    Lin's new contract is peanuts compared to the ones for all other players with similar production.

    I mean even freaking scrubs like Rivers getting close to 10M/per, and Solo, I don't know who he is, Hill get 4 years 54M. And yet only Lin get criticized by current and former NBA players for his contract. SMH.

    Well, he's probably earning $11,950,000 more than you a year, assuming you are actually not just a pimply kid. And that's before endorsements. The only endorsements you are getting is miscellaneous rep points on clutchfans.

    Getting the 3rd year player option and the trade kicker added to the contract probably cost him some dollars, but those things were probably important to him....He is comfortable with the Nets because of Atkinson, but since Atkinson has no track record as a head coach, the Nets probably will give Atkinson 2 years to show improvement on the team; if the team doesn't do well and the Nets fire him, Lin probably wanted the option of leaving depending on who they bring as coach then,
