I'll say it again. He's not leaving the East coast. Going to an area with a large Dominican population is a big deal for him. Move on.
Morey is incapable of signing a star player. Dwight was a fluke. I'm willing to bet he isn't offering the max.
When Les hired D'antoni, literally the exact opposite of what the gm and every human being besides Les knew this team needed. He killed any chance of us getting anyone.
This may be very true...don't know what to think at this point but, if he prefer the Celtics and the Wizards, this should tell us something, i don't think it's just a matter of staying in the east honestly...
So much estrogen is flowing on CFans lately. Some of yall need to pop a midol and think before you type.
Rockets organization has bad reputation in media. It has nothing to do with Harden. Remember when we have Yao and Tmac? Still can't attract free agents.
When all your team has his harden , poor shooters and young progressing players, the celtics look great right now
The Celtics play like a team The rockets play through harden. Celtics are in a better position in easier conference. He gets better defenders surrounding him and will get good looks in post . Good fit for Horford
good didn't need to over pay him, morey should've been jumped and tried to make trades for solid PFS that can shoot instead of betting on dmo & jones.
Dwight was one of those "right place at the right time" situations. Only maybe half a dozen teams had the cap room to sign him that summer. We were coming off a respectable 45-37 season and a hard fought 6-game series against OKC(albeit without Westbrook for 4 of those games). We had a budding superstar in Harden and a potential All-Star talent in Parsons. And a coach who for whatever reason players really seemed to like. Oh, and let's also not forget that Dwight was absolutely miserable in LA the previous season. Other than staying with the Lakers, the only real suitors he had were Dallas(who were on the decline while we were on the rise) and Golden State(and that was before Curry, Thompson, and Green were who they are today). What the Rockets organization needs to understand is these circumstances are rare. For every Dwight, there's a Bosh or Melo or Horford or Durant. Most of these guys take the money and stay where they are or they wind up choosing a new team they feel offers them a better shot at winning than we do. I'll say it again til I'm blue in the face. It's rebuilding time.
