I think they get a very good deal on Howard. They won't be contender, but they could have deep playoff run. I won't be surprised if they reach conference final.
Didnt work out how we hoped but I wish him all the luck going forward... He seems like a genuine good guy.
People are going to miss Howard if/when we strike out on Horford. Wish we could have gotten Howard back at that price, team took a big step back this off season by loosing him without a similar level player replacement.
Dwight was a good guy here and did a lot for the community as well as the team. He said all the right things and his bad reputation seems to have been exaggerated. DD is a classless hack.
Unfortunate to see him go, but i think this move shows dwight isn't about winning anymore. looks like he gave up on trying to get a ring. In many articles posts, and even a lot of my own personal conversations, a lot of them revolved around the fact that dwight wanted to win a ring. And what championship team would take dwight without him taking a pay cut? And the answer was none. Maybe he saw that, and just decided to settle. ATL isn't even a team you can say who will for sure make the playoffs next season, and that says a lot for being in the east.
