Health didn't stop Parsons from getting a max. Some is going to offer D-Mo monopoly money, and I hope it isn't the Rockets.
Well there are a lot of FA's and every team has money. I get the feeling we are going to not do well.
Obviously this city and this team as currently constructed is not an attractive situation for free agents. The team is going to have to find a way to build through trade and we don't have any strong assets. I am not seeing the "Players like to play for D'Antoni" that was advertised. The Warriors did a great job of collecting perfect role players by taking some risks on guys like Livingston, Barbosa, and Bogut. At this point the summer of 2017 doesn't look any prettier. I would like to see us try to collect high basketball IQ guys that have basketball as their biggest passion in life, and demand that our coaching staff develop a game plan that allows those players to work within their own strengths. The theory of surrounding James with shooters is great if you can collect premier shooters. That has not been the case.
I hate the direction this team is going. first, you screw up the season. (out of morey's control) second, "I know!! we need defense, right? so lets hire an offensive coach!!!" third, sit down and watch every good free agent go to another team
