Bazemore isn't that good but if Evan Turner got $70 million, wow

Rockets probably throw some max offer sheets now...

Rockets should just pony up and offer Baze his 20M.

Turner and Fournier just got around 17-18M. Parsons just got 22M.

That or start targeting Allen Crabbe.

This is ridiculous. Just stick with Ariza and sign Dudley and Marvin Williams for the price of Bazemore.

Bazemore must be off the charts in advanced analytics. Dude is looking like KD in the recruitment world.

Portland and Atlanta were after Howard. Portland just signed Evan Turner for $70m. Howard to Hawks looks more likely now. If Howard goes to Hawks that means Al Horford is not signing with Hawks.

That would mean Harden can start calling KD and saying, 'Hey....we got Horford now. You me Horford.'

Nah the NBA is just extremely weak right now and its hilarious they are the ones that will reap the benefits of the stars of the past who built the NBA brand.

It is not impossible for them to sign both. The stuff out of Atlanta is that Horford would be more likely to stay if they added Howard actually because he has always wanted to player PF with a full time C next to him.

They could sign and trade Milsap for Howard, but they don't have to do that.

Or they can have Milsap, Howard and Horford but they will lose Bazemore.

They can if they renounce Baze but, there's no reason for them to do a sign & trade with us, they can just sign Howard and trade Millsap to another team for a SG/SF...

Or Horford chooses to play in OKC with a better team and his former college coach.

If they can trade away Kanter, Ilyasova and Singler with no incoming salary.

That's just my immediate, common sense reaction. I could easily be wrong though. We're all witnessing the wonkiest Free Agency day ever. I haven't looked at ATL's cap space or anything. But IF they take on Howard for whatever it is....$24m to $28m / year makes me think they've moved on from Horford.

This hot take manages to fail on many levels; the NBA is obvioulsy not extremely weak, hence the huge sums of money that are being reallocated to the players, whom people pay billions to see.

Precisely. They would still have some heavy lifting to do to make that happen.
