If you offer Allen Crabb 20 mils per, I serious doubt the Blazers will match that.

Yes and dealing them cuts a lot of the cost of a deal for Baze.

That means the Rockets lose $16,000 and add Bazemore so close to a wash.

The point is that it is disingenuous to look at it in terms of cash. % of cap is much more relevant

i await J.R.'s transcription of the meeting?

yeah, this doesn't seem like a rockets move. his stats don't say he's great. his advanced stats don't say he's great. and his RPM on espn doesn't say he's great. you're paying a lot for a seeming small amount of wins.

Bazemore went 13/3/3 on 45/37 under D'Antoni when he spent half a year with the Lakers.

He is a good player but he isn't a star.

A good chance his production increases under D'Antoni.

So we can have Bazemore for 20 million, or Ariza for 7.5 million. Decisions decisions.

And Lebron is going to get 30 mils per,

so is there any point to make any comparison?

The key in this discussion is Bazemore, mother baze freaking more.

Imagine Shandon Anderson. Basically a 4th level caliber NBA player. I would rather have 2 Corey Brewers.

If it's gonna cost $19-20M a year to sign Bazemore, I'd rather pay $22M/year to chase Chandler Parsons, bad knees and all.
