If anytime it's acceptable for Gomez to swing out of his helmet and drop to a knee, it's against this guy.

Correa being torrid is magnifying this effect.

    Tanaka? Does that count? Kuroda?

How many near HRs can we have in a series?

Between Weaver and the OF play this reminds me of a softball game.

Yeah, I contributed to it... Never realized how annoying that lack of a feature was because I never used it.

Great play by Valbuena. Not an easy barehand.

Now we see what he does to Bandy on a 1-2 count instead of 2-1.

His last month or so has been All-Star worthy. He and Gomez and Castro, which is weird to type, really did a ton to turn this thing around.

Two great barehanded plays by Valbuena in the same inning... Me gusta.

In the last 32 games, Altuve is hitting .412 (51 out of 124). He also has just 15 walks compared to 11 strikeouts.

In those 32 games he has reached base in all but 1, held hitless is only 2, and has multiple hit games in 15 of them.

This kid is crazy good and a pleasure to watch.
