His back is fine - I mean I don't hear anyone worried about Dwights back or Durant's feet, or....well you get the point.

I think he thrives in the 6th man role.

Love Beasley off the bench as a scoring threat, and like Beas and DMo together at times with DMo playing C, as most teams don't have a center any longer.

still in denial. thats horrible, especially when Dmo just flat out said his back isn't 100%. what else needs to be done for you. be by his bedside?

DMo is a great fit for MDA's system. He will be had for a discount due to his back injuries. AAAAND he is the only guy that we can sign AFTER using our available capspace.

Unless there is a plan in place that needs literally ALL of our capspace and we have to renounce his 5.something million dollar cap hold, resigning DMo is a no brainer.

Was that the Olympics quote? Where he uses that as an excuse not to go to Brazil?

Meh - I think that is more to do with his contract situation than his back..but we can disagree.

DMo should negotiate a "No trade" clause, or a "Trade Kicker" clause, hell anyone signing in Houston should do that.

That'd be nice, but they'd need to address rebounding from somewhere else then.

yeah im sure telling the whole world "my back is not 100%" is something you want out there when you are looking for your next contract. that makes a ton of sense

His agent will tell teams that is a PR excuse for this countries fans.

Don't fall for everything people say, try to read the situation a bit better, and you will have greater clarity.

    Pffft....of course I am - I am always right.....

Except when I am wrong, then I am not right.

oh please. you seriously have some self taught issues and need a reality check. Just amazing for 2 years and counting now, you still have made the same claim. "his back is fine" yet everything has said and shown otherwise in reality. how someone can be so naive amazes me. we all know you have a man crush on him but damn.

Dmo better get his shot down or it will be more of the same. He will not be the post player he once was.
I don't see it happening. He's had plenty of time already. If this were anyone else he would have been burned at the stake. Case in point Terrence Jones.

That's why he is not playing the Olympics?

He's not playing in Olympics because he has no contract signed yet & Lithuanian NT already playing friendly games.

Over his career he earned half of what he can earn in single season next year. Just imagine him getting injury preparing for Olympics, any injury....

I can understand why he has no basketball activities, huge money on the line

That man said he's not 100%. That's the main reason why he's not playing in the Olympics.

People really need to stop putting words in these players mouth. Lol

you obviously did when he clearly said "and the back is not 100% recovered yet. The specialists told me that it is necessary to strengthen it and I have to make specific exercises"
