When they say "sign" does this mean to a summer league team or an actual contract? I assumed given its a 3 year deal it would be an actual NBA roster deal but how many guys do we have on the roster how come the Rox can sign 3 additional guys immediately?

Huh? He has a slow release. Needs to shoot more quickly in the NBA

Kyle Wiltjer is best pure shooter in this draft. Morey strikes with outlier in draft with science behind him.

Is he a legit 6'10" and how is his rebounding?

I watched his highlights and he never missed a shot....

Poor rebounder, poor defender. Always will be both.

But he is a good shooter, and if his shot is falling and the defense plays him as a shooter, he can do a little pump fake and make a move.

    Code:
    Predraft Measurements
Year	Source	Height w/o Shoes	Height w/shoes	Weight Wingspan	Standing Reach	Body Fat	No Step Vert	Max Vert
    2016	Combine	6' 8.75" 6' 10" 243 7' 0.25"	8' 6.5" 15.3 27.5 35.5

He looks out of shape in that Jazz draft workout video. He looks slimmer and slightly quicker in his college highlight video.

This guy has 1 elite NBA skill already: he shoots like a boss. From his body language, you know this guy is confidently going to hit at least 40% as long as he is shooting.

He also seems to be a smart player, his shot selection and shot timing look good. He understands why he should be shooting the ball, he's not just gung-ho shooting like Ryan Anderson.

He is pretty bad at everything else though. Still, he's going to be a Rocket for those 3 years IMO and a very nice player to have off the bench.

Wiltjer at 1x3 non guaranteed with a team option >>> Ryan Anderson at 18x4 fully guaranteed

Plays a lot like a 17-18 year old Motiejunas just not as athletic and not as good in the post.

You can exceed the 15-Player limit in the off-season. But we have to get down to 15 contracts by end of October

If you only watch the first video then yes he has a slow release but that looked to be towards the end of a workout. It looks like he has a pretty quick release for a PF prospect in the game vids.

This is a dude you put on the floor to do one thing... and it looks like he can do that pretty well.

I wonder what "star" didn't go in the draft? This was something Morey said but couldn't elaborate on it because of league rules.
