    That is some sick success. Houston is far from beaten down.

    Also. Washington DC has won 4 MLS cups.

    Astros and Texans need to catch up. Even the expansion team Houston Aeros won the Calder cup in 2002.

    my hometown San Diego definitely takes the cake ...

    Padres and Chargers are both awful... although we did have some fun with SDSU basketball and Kawhi as the local claim to fame in the NBA.

    Houston has a great chance to get it done:

    a. If the Texans can do it...with JJ Watt...Our city would go nuts!!!
    b. The Astros are young and presumably have a window...
    c. The Rockets window seems to be rapidly closing. They must make it work with James Harden this upcoming year or risk him leaving for nothing.

    Houston rivals Cleveland when it comes to almost and near greatness.

    Oilers in the late 70's arguably being the 2nd best team in the NFL for a 2 year stretch and not being able to get past the Steelers.

    Astros with the lead needing 6 outs to get to the world series in 1980 only to lose in extra innings.

    Oilers making the playoffs 6 straight years and never even making a conference title game.

    Rockets losing the Finals in 81 and 86 and then losing 3 players of their core to drug suspensions the next year.

    Astros of the late 90's- mid 2000's making the playoffs 7 times in 10yrs and only making it out of the first round twice and with only one World Series appearance and no titles.

    Last years Astros being 6 outs away from knocking out the eventual world champs

    A new logo will help Les sell new merchandise and make even more money but I don't know why he won't do it. Maybe he has bad taste or partial blind that we don't know about.
