Said in a thread last night. The block might be the single best/most important defensive play I've seen in 25+ years. Game 7, 2 minutes left, both teams struggling to score, an opponent that thrives on plays like that, Lebron being who he is, down 3-1 and coming back, Lebron at that point basically completely juiced, putting the team on his back, him truly coming out of nowhere - which was partly camera work, but I had no f'ing clue he was even in the vicinity until he swooshed in. That's one guy, putting a fanbase and city on his back, saying f'no. That's MJ esque. Partly because you just don't see defensive plays like that much. You see great defense that results in the other team not hitting a shot. Or grabbing a steal. But a chase down block like that. One of the biggest plays I've seen in decades.

Love had a great game on the boards. Lebron is an amazing leader. The players there do not play outside there roles. You don't see that with Harden. The maturity process has to take place.
It was a better version of when Tay Prince ran down Reggie Miller. This one was on a bigger stage and included about 24 inches of more vertical. It was absolutely insane. So it was evident all season long that Lebron coasted. Waited until the finals to unleash his full talent which proved he is by far the best player in the league. Incredible. I was never a Lebron fan until what he did the last three games.

I slept through and didn't watch the game yet. Woke up to see Lebron holding the trophy and couldn't believe it. Very happy for the city of Cleveland and their fans. Also full respect for Lebron. Everyone had written them off but here he is. And couldn't be sweeter title than this. Beating the team with the greatest record of all time in their homecourt. A true legendary title.

I'm just so glad that the warriors finally got stopped. They been the golden child of the NBA for 2 years now and the narrative was written that Steph was approach MJ level of greatness and that he could do no wrong. Time and time again when the warriors appeared to be in trouble they would pull out wins and come back. They just seem like an unstoppable team of destiny. I'm so Happy LBJ and the Cavs put an end to that dream story last night. Time for the media to take a bit of focus off those whiny entitled brats for a while.

I'm real happy how this turned out. I think Golden State created a lot of bitterness around the league, but I've disliked them for some time, especially because of Draymond. A lot of things made this fitting for me. 1) Draymond cost them the series with his temper/physicality. 2) An injury to Bogut hurt them, and no team that I can remember benefited more from other teams' injuries than Golden State last season. 3) They lost after talking a lot of trash when up 3-1, becoming the first team in NBA Finals history to blow a 3-1 lead. 4) Curry came up very, very small. He was the UNANIMOUS MVP and may not have even been the best point guard in his last two series. 5) The Warriors fan bandwagon was on a cocky mockfest thrillride ALL season only to lose in the most horrific, train wreck fashion.
