Ohio State and Bama beg to differ. They get the best talent and will be title contenders year in and year out. A lot of first round picks tend to be 4 star and up. I do agree that you can win with 3 star athletes outside of the SEC. Have a good strength and conditioning coach, good coaching staff and you can win.
Some 5 stars end up not even cracking the starting line up, while some 2 and 3 stars go on to be some of the best players in the nation. However on average your more likely to get a solid player that is a 4 or 5 star than a 2 or 3 star. It's no science because of all the factors of a 18 year old learning to play college football, some can do it with easy other with hard work and some just don't pan out. The good thing is the Coogs are get quality 3 star local "Texas" kids early. If they have another huge season along with the continued campus improvements they'll catch a few more 4 stars eyes and maybe another 5 star. Go Coogs! Beat OU
former baylor commit Tren Dickson transfers to UH! Since he enrolled at baylor in january he has to sit out a year. Man what a get! These next few years going to be amazing! LETS GO COOGS
Dont wanna look ahead but our wr core for 2017 gonna be nasty AF. Samples Bonner Lark Dunbar Dickson Corbin Stevenson SOOOOO many weapons for Kyle Allen, D'Eriq King or Bowman Sells. Whichever one wins the starting QB job.:grin:

I heard that June 24th is the final day to have the OU game included with a season ticket package so be sure to purchase soon! I believe over 21,000 season tickets have been sold this year.

247 Sports reporting former Baylor commit Kameron Martin will likely choose between Houston and Texas. 4 star RB from Port Arthur http://247sports.com/Player/Kameron-Martin-19566 http://www.hudl.com/v/UE2E8 My money is on UH since UT picked up Katy HS's Kyle Porter and UT's two starting RBs are sophomores. I'm not sure what the RB situation is at UH but I know there was only 1 2016 pickup he would need to compete with. That being said, almost every team plays 2 RBs regularly.
