He's way too slow, is a mid-range guy, and pretty bad defensively. Not the type of player we need. He's the type of person we need though.

Pringles is better than any coach we've had single Adelman. Looking forward to our new roster and high-powered offense.

What are you willing to give up in return for George Hill?

Hmm, Georgie who can't run the O Bird wanted so he canned Vogel; then hired (ever slower O) Nate the Mac - - and you want him here under MDA???

Perhaps you meant Paul George. By, George - - you will have neither in H-Town.

In a scenario where Howard opts in.

Trade Brewer, KJ and Dekker with no cap in return.

Waive/renounce: Dmo, Jones, Terry, Smith, Goudlock

Sign Conley to his max, sign Dudley for 6-7 mill per, sign Scola with room exception, fill rest of roster out with vet minimum and 2nd rd picks

    Conley / Beverley
    Harden
    Ariza
    Dudley / Beasley / Scola
    Howard / Capela

Where would a trade of Ariza, Beverly, Harrell for Love leave us cap-wise assuming we keep D-Mo and renounce Jones?

They'll get a better trade package than that from Boston.

we'd need to give them like Bev, Ariza and Capela, plus a pick to even get their attention (in my opinion). But regarding your question, Bima or other capologists on this board would know better; i suspect D-Mo will command double digit annual salary on the open market, and he might choose to bolt (after all, we traded him once). Resigning DMo, and swapping out close to even salary for love would probably leave us with enough to sign another star, but we'd certainly be gutted from a depth standpoint.

I think the most likely scenario is that Love is not available. And that Houston keeps Bev and Ariza, renounces D-Mo and Jones, and Morey tries to clear Brew's salary as well as trade guys like KJ for better system fits; and then puts most of the focus on reforming the roster via free agency.

Yep, I think the only way the Rockets would be able to get in on that trade is if Boston wanted to pair Love w/ Howard. But, there would be no reason for Boston to trade for Howard when they could just sign him as a free agent. So, ya....

I'm really just looking at it from a salary perspective. To get someone in the $20m Max range would cost us the three mentioned players (or something similar) at the minimum. Just wondering what room we would have left following such a trade. And depending on when the offer sheet was signed, couldn't the Rockets go I've the cap to match a Dmo offer?

    Well I didn't start a tread...

    My fix for our Rockets

Let Howard work --> this is a must

    Conley / Harden / Ariza / Saimka (Rookie) / DMo --> Beasley 6th man

Sign Conley - lessen Harden's role; makes him a better well rounded player. He pick his moments and make them count.
Sign DMo but play him center --> Vlade Divac like put a rebounder defender next to him.

Trade with 76ers and Boston they have to many picks to work with and we need a new look (talent).

    76ers
    Bev / Brewer for 24 & 26 plus Marshall

    Boston
    Capela for 31 & 35

DRAFT--> BPA ( make sure to get Pascal Saikam he fits perfect with DMo playing the 5)

A lot of B+ talent will fall to us

    Try to bring over Llull

This is 50+ win team w/ MDA plus has room to grow into maybe a chip.

The Lakers wanting to trade DeAngelo Russell talk makes some sense. But they are clearly looking for picks and young talent.

Would you trade next year's 1st and a player for Russell? Have to take some chances to be great.

    1. Trade Howard/Ariza for Love/Mozgov
    2. Sign Conley
    3. Sign Batum if still have enough money. If not sign economical small forward
    4. Fill in with whatever is needed. Would love to add Lou Williams and bazemore if we had enough cap space

    Conley/Bev
    Harden/??
    Batum/Beasley
    Love/Beasley
    Capella/Mozgov
