Just looked, I knew the cheapest seats were going to be way too expensive for me and they are. I am sad now. Are these prices reasonable (starting at $150) for this match? Last night's attendance was 45,000 and the stadium holds over 60,000. I don't want to direct any undeserved hate towards Ticketmaster and StubHub but they are the Comcast of sports to me.
It would be sold out if Mexico was playing down here instead of in Chicago. Who knows though- huge hispanic population and could sell out still with Argentina/Messi on top of the US support but yeah way out of my price range.
It's gonna sell out. Tickets have been flying off Ticketmaster since the U.S. won last night. When Argentina wins tomorrow night the last few tickets will get snatched up. Prices will level out though on secondary market sites like stubhub. Theres already over 8000 tickets listed on Stubhub.
