FYI NBA has a clear precedent on throwing mouthpieces: It's a fine, not a suspension. League officials affirm this.

 

Hopefully he's not suspended. If he is, then don't even play game 7 and hand the trophy to the Cavs.

 

Well of course not, Curry could have punched that fan and they wouldn't suspend him for it, the reason he freaked out so much was that they were calling fouls on him as if he wasn't a member of the Warriors. He's not used to having to go by the rules and he just couldn't take it.

Does anyone believe for a second if any Houston Rockets player threw their mouthpiece at a fan, he wouldn't have been instantly kicked out of the building, fined and suspended for game 7 and suspended for 5-15 games of the 2016-2017 season?
