Good News. It looks like 2016 ILB Fowler is going to make it to UT. He was one of the best pickups on 2016. http://texas.247sports.com/Board/21/Contents/Erick-Fowler-note-45827003 http://www.hookem.com/2016/06/15/er...sary-sat-score-will-join-texas-football-team/ DL recruit Marcel Southall is still a question mark.
Great news. We definitely need some quality edge-rushers. Hopefully he will be able to step up for us in the coming years.
Here is a pretty cool slide show taking you throw each position group and how the new guys might fit in. http://texas.247sports.com/ContentG...the-2016-summer-enrollees-fit-on-th-45578280/
Section 31 Row 31... basically around the 10 yard line on the visitors side closer to the open end of the stadium. We're gonna be in the sunny side of the stadium but luckily both of the early home games are in the evening. We were looking at getting seats on the alumni side in Section 7 but by the time our seat selection slot time came most of the decent seats were gone. The price jump to Section 30 (around the 20 yard line) was a little too high after factoring in the necessary donation for each seat. We're also receiving Longhorn Club passes because we hit a certain donation benchmark. It gets you access into the Corral Club and Champions Club pregame and during the game where you can purchase beer / food etc. We also purchased Purple Checkered parking passes for the season in the garages by the State Capitol.
What was it Hollywood Henderson said about Terry Bradshaw? "He couldn't spell 'cat' if you spotted him the C and the A"
He's moving to WR, so... Maybe, but I think it says quite a bit that they all started fresh in the new offense and with a new OC, and the guy that should have been at his high school prom beat out guys that have been competing and training at this level for 2 and 3 years. It's not everything but it's the primary motivation for most of the guys that have the talent. It's not a criticism - it's why most of us go to college.
yah man no doubt. I've thought about it and my 6 year old son wouldn't know the difference from playing Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the UTEP miners, or the Dallas Cowboys haha. I still want to go though.
I know the brothers wanted to play together so interesting that he'd decide before BU's decision. BU could still deny his brother's request all together or restrict where he can go.
I hope he comes to UT but you can't get upset if he doesn't since this opportunity never should have arisen to begin with. I'm sure he can see opportunity here with all of the receivers that Gilbert is likely to play but that'll be at TCU as well.
With just 2 football games per season and a handful of basketball/baseball games, just don't see how much longer the network can survive.

woo hoooo. this guy looks fast. which if I remember reading right Texas really needed for their offense.
He should fit well in the slot and add a dynamic playmaker on offense. Edit: looks like Devin's high school GF committed to play soccer at UT (she's a top U19 player). I'm sure she played a role into where he decided to play after his commitment to Baylor fell through.
Texas will come out of this the best which shouldn't surprise anyone. That's not a dig.. It's just reality.
