Some definite strikes not called. While our annoucers were talking about something other than the game Colin slipped one in on the batter before Molina on a. 2 -2 count that was a strike no doubt plus other very questionables.
I hate seeing Gomez get picked off, but that was a great move to first. Extremely quick trigger on that throw and perfect location.
I guess I'd have to watch it to try and interpret. I think there's plenty of room between "ha, he's a moron" to "ha, sometimes **** happens" (as I'm typing this...like that pickoff...ugh) Not giving him credit for that. Giving him credit for saying "he's pitching well enough that we should keep him in", and then he went out and pitched well. The team was already up by 1. I would have pinch hit for him too, but at least his pitching for 1.1 scoreless after that justified it. The RBIs are gravy but no credit there.
