Lamar Odom?? Caron Butler??? How about the year Kobe led the lakers into lottery and Shaq won the championship???

Come on, I hate Kobe but I will admit Kobe is a hair better than Lebron. Do you have to make it sound like Lebron is a crap player.

To me, your Lebron hatred has clouded your own basketball judgement.

Kobe shot 6-24 in that final game 7 and they still won. Lebron shoots 6-24 and the cavs will get run out the building.

MJ pushed Pippen into a superstar? When has Pippen ever attributed his success to Jordan? Jordan had something to do with Pippen being an athletic freak that could cover 4 positions? Jordan is responsible for Pippen knowing how to run point because he had a late growth spurt? Jordan had something to do with Pippen's insane work ethic that led him from being a walk-on to the #5 pick in the draft?

Pippen would have been great no matter where he went because he was an athletic freak who always worked hard on his game.

The Heat didn't have more talent than either of the teams Kobe won titles with, and Gasol/Odom outperformed Wade/Bosh when each won titles. If Miami had more talent than Kobe would've had to lead the team in damn near everything like LeBron did and be their defensive stopper. Instead, he just got to shoot while his bigs did all the dirty work and Ariza/Artest/Odom guarded all the wings.

Wade will go down as a far better player than Gasol but Wade, who was on an athletic decline from 2012 on, did not produce more on the court in 2012 and 2013 than Gasol did in 2009 and 2010, especially not in the postseason.

The more I think about that performance last night, the more I think it was one for the ages. He just imposed his will on the game.

It's all about his jump shot.

If his jumper is remotely on - 45%+, with 40% on threes - he can score at will, really, if he wants to.

But if he can't shoot, you just play off him a bit, and especially for GSW as they have a bunch of guys that can guard him well enough if they can play off him 3-5 feet... AI, Green, Barnes

I'll give him credit. Last night's game are games he should be having in the Finals. If you're the best player in the world then you need to impose your will on the series. Him scoring 22pts isn't going to cut it. Last night showed me something

Lebrun has been the best player in this series. He just needs to stay aggressive and look to shoot the jumpers if they lay off him.

Way to cherry pick one random game, Lebron's playoff average is 27.9 pts/ 8.8 rebs/6.7 assist/1.9 steals

Meanwhile Kobe shoots 6-24 and his team still wins game 7.

Lebron is the best player in the league since MJ, there's nobody else ahead of him at this point.

Lebron is a better player than Kobe. He'll probably be top 5 all time when he retires.

I agree Pippen would have been a great player no matter what, but you can't deny he played very similar to MJ. The post moves, his handles, his defensive stance, and even some of the mid air poses on his dunks. He mimicked a lot of Jordan. In a lot of ways, he was the first Jordan wannabe before Kobe. Hell, even down to the way he chewed his gum, wore a big gold earring or accessories like MJ a lot too.

He may not be "choking" this series. But he still may end up 2-5 in the finals.
